Everything you need to know before your dog’s first visit.
Rabies, DHPP (distemper/parvo), bordetella, canine influenza, and leptospirosis, plus a vet-recommended flea and tick preventative.
Please upload your records through our new-client form before your first visit — not on the day. This gives Andi time to check everything in advance.
Not sure where to start? Book a free 30-minute consultation — a phone or video call to talk through your dog, your goals, and which service fits.
Ready to book daycare or boarding for a dog we haven’t met yet? After you request your dates, we’ll set up a free 15-minute meet & greet at our place before the first visit — you see the space, your pup meets Andi, and we make sure it’s the right fit.
One family. Your dog is the only dog here — never grouped with dogs they do not know, never a chaotic, multi-dog kennel. If you have two dogs, they come together; they already share a home. It means we book up early and sometimes have to say no, but it is the whole reason people come to us.
Forte is Andi’s retired service dog, and he lives here. Twelve years of service work made him calm and respectful in every situation — he is a steadying presence and a quiet role model, and nervous pups often settle faster watching him than they would watching a person. He does not count toward the one-family limit, and for dogs who would rather not share space with another dog, Forte spends the day at a friend’s place.
Yes — virtual training and service dog coaching are available worldwide. Daycare, boarding, in-person training, and public access work are here in Frederick, but everything that can happen over video can happen anywhere.
Not at all, and please just tell us on the booking form. Knowing ahead means Andi can plan the day around it — and housetraining support is one of the activities you can add to a daycare stay.
Daycare is a half day (up to 4 hours) from $85, or a full day (up to 8 hours) from $150. Boarding is from $175/night. Canine massage is $75/session. Bringing two dogs from the same household? Add $50.
The base rate covers calm, supervised care. Activities like yard time, structured play, or training work are added to your quote. Andi confirms your exact quote by text before your first visit — no payment is taken online for daycare or boarding.
Training prices ($45–$95 depending on format) are listed on our Services page.
One family at a time — your dog is never grouped with dogs they don’t know. Play in the morning, a proper midday rest, more play and one-on-one attention in the afternoon, and a photo update texted to you during the visit. A full day covers up to 8 hours; longer days are quoted individually.
Daycare covers up to 8 hours. We’re open 9 AM to 8 PM on weekdays and 9 AM to 6 PM on weekends, so longer days are absolutely possible — they’re just quoted individually. Ask when you book and Andi will confirm by text.
Yes — a photo is texted to you during every daycare and boarding visit. Not a webcam feed of a warehouse — a real note from someone who actually spent the day with your dog.
Daycare: nothing but your dog — collar and leash for drop-off.
Boarding: your dog’s food portioned per meal, and any medication with written instructions. Labeled, please!
Life happens — just give us 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged up to 50% of the quoted service. Emergencies are different; talk to us and we’ll do our best to work with you.
Often, yes. One family at a time and one consistent caregiver make a big difference for sensitive dogs. We’ll be honest with you about fit, and training support is available if your pup needs a slower start.
